Fees Information

Fee Payment Information

School fees are payable in advance over a 10-month period, due by the 7th of each month. Matric students will be billed over an 8-month period. Payments should be made via stop order or electronic transfer, and must reference the student’s name, surname, and class.

Sibling Discounts

We offer the following sibling discounts on annual tuition fees:

  • 5% for the second learner
  • 10% for the third learner
  • 15% for the fourth learner, and so on

The order of siblings is determined by grade level, with the highest grade being the first learner.

Early Payment Discount

A 5% discount on annual tuition fees is available if the full amount is paid by 31 January 2025. Please note that this discount is not applicable to scholarship holders.

Exclusions

School fees do not cover stationery or textbooks.

Payment Method

All payments must be made via direct deposit. Please email proof of payment to bursar.gs@starcollegecpt.co.za, ensuring that the student’s name, surname, and grade are included in the payment reference. Cash payments are not accepted.

Re-registration Policy

Star College reserves the right to refuse re-registration if fees are not managed properly or if there is an outstanding balance on the account.

Leave of Absence

Full fees are due during any leave of absence.

Notice of Withdrawal

A 3-month notice is required if you wish to withdraw your child from the school. Failure to provide the necessary notice will result in responsibility for a term’s fees.


2026 SCHOOL FEES

Application & Registration Fee

There is a non-refundable application fee of R200 as well as a registration fee of R5000 for primary and high school. The registration fee is not included in the school fees and is also non-refundable. And it gets paid on admission.

Fees are payable monthly in advance (over 10 months) for Primary and High School from 07 January – 07 October 2025. Star College is an Independent School.

Grades 1-7

In the Foundation Phase (Grade 1 - 3), we focus on the core subjects and aim to lay down a solid foundation, in order to prepare the students for all future schooling.
In the Intermediate Phase (Grade 3 - 7) we expose the learners to different opportunities and subjects, to prepare them for their journey into High School, and also introduce the learners to Science Fairs and various Olympiads.

Grades 8-12

At Star College, our High School offers subjects chosen specifically for University Preparation, ensuring that each boy can do subjects according to his particular strengths.

From Grade 8 onwards, students compete in Olympiads at an International level, as we send selected students abroad to compete at International Olympiads.

We also offer free Saturday tuition and numerous other extra classes to assist all our boys to achieve to the best of their ability.
